I think that any of us just arrived in Vancouver, wondering about where is this marijuana from? Her smoke everywhere and do not hesitate. Arriving here 12 years ago, I was a little shocked. I was shocked not by the fact that they smoke it, but by how much Canadians are not afraid to smoke it in public places. Before I begin to tell my story, I immediately note that I do not encourage anyone to use marijuana and in no way propagandize. I just share my opinions and thoughts like other bloggers. Of course, as a person born and raised in Russia (I lived in Russia until I was 22 years old), before coming to Canada, I perceived marijuana as a drug that kills you.
I thought that there is a dependency on marijuana, that it kills the brain and body. When I started to study computer technology in college, I often went outside in the “smoking room” to practice my English with Canadian guys. And what do you think? Some of them during the break could afford to smoke a joint. But what more surprised me is that students who smoke on a regular basis are weed they have a fairly high general score (gpa) and, on the whole, quite smart guys. A couple of the students with whom I studied, and did smoke marijuana before the exams. According to them, it helps to concentrate, and also gives a stream of new thoughts when solving computer problems. By the way now, the two main “travokur” are very well organized in college: one works as a general computer engineer in a large corporation in Vancouver, the second has created his own Internet platform, which earns more than 300,000 a year (I will not give references for confidentiality) These guys are already over 40, and they all also smoke marijuana. In general, watching all this in college, my opinion about marijuana began to change.
I was quite curious to try it (at that time I was 22 years old). As a programmer, I scrupulously approach every question. Over the course of a month, I searched through over 1000 different sources of information about the study of marijuana and its effects on the body. In general, I came across articles for any color and taste, but the main thing is that it is impossible to find out reliable information or not. Then I began to watch various forums around the world and read primarily about the negative side effects of smoking marijuana. Of the most popular ones, I met: On each resource, you may encounter another n-th number of bad effects, but these 4 were encountered especially often and, which is important, in forums, with real examples. For many, marijuana affects differently, so you never know how exactly your body reacts to it. At that moment, the most important thing I learned for myself was that once there would be nothing bad, and most importantly, there would be no dependence (by the way, there is no physical dependence on marijuana, as there is no nicotine. You may appear psychological dependence, but again this is all individually).
